Dr. Enas Al AlawiSelected as a Governor of Bahrain forThe Asia Pacific Hernia Society
Dr. Enas Al-Alawi / Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon in Bahrain Specialist Hospital was selected as a governor of Bahrain for the Asia Pacific Hernia society. Dr. Al Alawi presented her research on a new technique which she has invented for Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia repair in the first international GCC Hernia Congress held in Dubai this month. Dr. Enas Al Alawi presented a research paper on using a special suturing device for Laparoscopic Hernia repair. Her presentation was awarded a certificate of appreciation for the Asia Pacific Hernia Society.
Dr. Enas also started practicing the new technology of Single Port Laparoscopic Surgery at Bahrain Specialist Hospital since November, 2009. She has been using the Single Port technique for Hernia repair, Gall stone surgery and Obesity surgery.
